Motorola Defy PLUS



Approximately one year after the appearance of Defy, Motorola announced a new smartphone designed to withstand unfriendly weather conditions, and the underwater environment - Motorola Defy Plus (Defy +). The Plus in the name fits like a glove since earlier this week, Google acquired mobile devices division of Motorola.



Returning to the smartphone Defy +, it does not impress in hardware, however it has a configuration that places it near the performant devices: CPU 1 GHz (single core), 512 MB ​​RAM, screen capacitive 3.7-inch 480 x 854 pixels resolution, Gorilla Glass, 5 MP camera with autofocus, HSDPA, Wi-Fi hotspots and GPS 802.11n +. The battery has a capacity of 1700 mAh. The OS is Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

IP67 certification guarantees the phone submerged in water exceeding 1 meter and up to 30 minutes, and resistance to penetration of dust.
Motorola Defy Plus is scheduled to appear on shelves in September, first in Germany then in the rest of Europe and America markets. The price is estimated to be around 269 Euro plus VAT and trade margins.
